After the launch of Galaxy A8 and A8+, Samsung has focused back on budget smartphones with a refresh to the Galaxy On Nxt series. The company recently launched a 16Gb variant of the phone which will be available for sale soon.

The phone is a fairly mid-range phone with a 5.5 inch Full HD TFT display and it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC. The phone also has 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. Apart from the relatively less internal storage, the phone supports microSD cards with up to 256 GB capacity.

On the back, the phone has a single 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash and autofocus. The camera supports 1080p video capture at 30 frames per second. The front of the phone as an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls too.

Connectivity wise, the phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and micro USB. The power pack of the phone is 3300 mAh which is non-removable.

The phone will cost Rs 9999 or $157 in India and will come with Android Noughat out of the box.
